F\u00e9camp is on the official French list of &nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fecamptourisme.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Towns of Art and History<\/strong><\/a>. The town\u2019s heritage features are highlighted and promoted by a team of professional guides via guided tours, storytelling walkabouts, hikes, heritage workshops and various shows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-blanc-color has-text-color\"><li><strong>Cap Fagnet,\u00a0<\/strong>the highest point on the C\u00f4te d\u2019Alb\u00e2tre, culminates at 105 metres to offer an amazing view over the cliffs, the port and the town itself. The massive bunkers remaining from the Atlantic Wall can still be visited by guided tours. The wind farm installed in 2006 also merits a visit, as do the bird sanctuary and the sailors\u2019 chapel.<\/li><li>Built in the Middle Ages and rebuilt during the 15th century, <strong>Saint Etienne Church<\/strong> features a Renaissance portal that\u2019s listed as a Historic Monument. <strong>The church towers above the port of F\u00e9camp.<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>Sainte Trinit\u00e9 Abbatial Church<\/strong>, Place des Ducs Richard. This is a listed Historic Monument. With a length equal to that of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, it features a 60-metre lantern tower and an astronomical tide clock.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.benedictinedom.com\/fr\/fr\/flamboyant-palais\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>The Benedictine Palace<\/strong><\/a>, Rue Alexandre Legros. This factory palace dating from 1863 was built by Alexander Le Grand, a wine merchant from F\u00e9camp, who found the recipe for his elixir in an ancient book. After a few trials and errors, he succeeded in recreating the famous liqueur that is still enjoyed today! Worth visiting for the building itself, the history behind it and, of course, the beverage of the same name! <\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-top col_img-2\" style=\"flex-basis:60%\">\n<div style=\"height:96px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul id=\"block-491c9193-7463-4a71-86a3-b3d75e55ba03\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.seine-maritime-tourisme.com\/diffusio\/fr\/je-choisis\/une-visite\/musees\/fecamp\/les-pecheries-musee-de-fecamp_TFOPCUNOR076V50YM1C.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>The Mus\u00e9e des P\u00eacheries<\/strong><\/a>. The Fisheries Museum is at F\u00e9camp port, <strong>12km from the Aiguille Creuse campsite.<\/strong> Start by walking to the panoramic viewpoint to admire the stunning view over F\u00e9camp and the port, then visit the museum to learn about the adventures of the fishermen of F\u00e9camp who sailed to Newfoundland to spend long months fishing for cod. You\u2019ll also see collections of typical Normandy wardrobes, cabinets, costumes and jewellery) as well as an amazing collection on the theme of childhood, put together by Dr Dufour.<br>Audio guides in French and English available at the museum (\u20ac2)<\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.seine-maritime-tourisme.com\/diffusio\/fr\/je-choisis\/une-visite\/musees\/fecamp\/musee-decouverte-du-chocolat_TFOPCUNOR076FS000AO.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chocolate Museum<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Route de Valmont. On this tour, you\u2019ll find out all there is to know about cocoa and its history.
